This huge vintage Japanese tin battery operated Snorkel Fire Engine was made in Japan by MT - Modern Toys. Circa the 1970’s.

In old stock condition, it measures approximately 14 inches long by 4 inches wide by 7 inches tall with the snorkel unextended. With the ladder extended the height measures about 18 inches tall! The lithography is terrific – bright and glossy.

The action is terrific – it travels with a ringing bell, then stops as the ladder extends and then rotates a few times around the fire engine.

The box is also excellent – only minor shelf wear and it includes the original inserts.
