Vintage Linemar Japan Tin Walgreens Cash Register Bank

An old stock tin toy from the 1950's, this tin bank locks with the first penny and opens automatically at the 100th! Each penny deposited registers in the counter display windows located on top of the bank.

The bank features advertising for Walgreen and Walgreen Agency Drug Stores, and has a 2.75” square base and stands just over 2.25” tall.

Printed on the cash register’s front and top are “cents” next to the counter openings, “Penny Register Bank / Penny Saved / Save Your Pennies / Registers One Dollar.”

Printed on one side is “You’re always welcome at Walgreen and Walgreen Agency Drug Stores” and on the opposite side is “Trade at Your Walgreen and Walgreen Agency Stores and Bank Your Savings.”

The original box is in fair condition with some small tears, rips, and dings but displays well.
