Reprocuction Chinese Porcelain Gambling Casino Pees Chips

This is a set of three porcelain gambling chips. Called “pees”, they replaced shells as gambling counters in the mid-1500’s. So common was their use that by 1868 a pee was accepted throughout Siam as small change.

Approximately 1 inch in diameter, and a great conversation piece!
