​About 7-1/2 inches long with built-in key, it is no longer working due to a broken spring. Missing the cap, and the clothes/toy have age wear.

Fernand Martin produced mechanical toys from 1878 through the 20th century, after which the company was continued by Georges Flersheim and Victor Bonnet.

This early version of L'Autopatte was made/designed by Fernand Martin himself and is marked with the Fernand Martin logo printed on the seat. Later versions by Florsheim and Bonnet do not have the F.M. logo.
