A number of different surprise cameras were made in Japan in the 1950's and beyond - each of them classics in their own right. We were delighted to find this one - with one difference that places it above the rest. The mouse is launched out of the camera by a cat!

About 4 inches by 3 inches by 1 1/2 inches it appears to have been a gift to a child named Ruby - who apparently did not play with it at all as it remains in excellent condition.

Tune in the radio and out flies a mouse accompinaied by a loud squeak.
