This cool space tank was found in a plastic retailers bag with header card. In the 50's and 60's, retail 5 and 10 cent stores would display smaller toys with the box lid on display racks with header cards.

The header card on this one fell apart from age, but revealed a wonderfully preserved space toy with its' box top.

The friction motor is working and turns the radar antenna! About 4 inches long and a little over 2 inches wide.

The box lid has A small repaired side tear, and other than that it is in beautiful condition.  A VERY tough box to find.

Made in Japan by Modern Toys and circa the 1950's.
